Star Trek: Strange New Worlds drops a full promo trailer of the upcoming series. The new Paramount+ series is set to premiere on May 5 with a 10-episode season.
The two-minute trailer gives a look into the series, promising sci-fi action, thrill, and a dash of nostalgia. The trailer gives a look at the adventures of Captain Christopher Pike (played by Anson Mount) and the crew of the USS Enterprise with Rebecca Romjin as Una Chin-Riley and Ethan Peck as Spock.
The show will revolve around the story of Captain Pike of the Starfleet before Captain James T. Kirk took over the ship. The events of the show take place a decade before Star Trek: The Original Series.

The Paramount+ series also features Christina Chong, Jess Bush, Celia Rosse Gooding as Cadet Nyota Uhura, and Melissa Navia. Before its premiere, the second season of the show is also expected and Paul Wesley (The Vampire Diaries actor) has been cast as James T. Kirk.

The trailer of the upcoming show brings back the nostalgia of the original series as it shows plenty of humor and action. It will be more of a lighter and funnier version of the Star Trek stories that got fans excited for the show.
