HBO Renews ‘Euphoria’ For Season 3

The Emmy-award-winning show Euphoria is renewed for a third season by HBO. The decision came amid the greatly increased viewership.

Fans of Euphoria will be able to see the sensational series featuring Zendaya after its season 2, as it will return for a third season. The Sam Levinson series returned in January, almost two and a half years after the first season.

“Sam, Zendaya, and the entire cast and crew of Euphoria have taken season two to extraordinary heights, challenging narrative convention and form, while maintaining its heart. We couldn’t be more honored to work with this gifted, wildly talented team or more excited to continue our journey with them into season three.” says Francesca Orsi, executive VP HBO Programming.

According to HBO, the second season premiere of the show crossed over 14 million viewers across different platforms. It was more than double as compared to the numbers of season 1 (6.6 million).

Euphoria follows high schoolers in the town of East Highland. It follows their lives as they navigate friendship and love in a world of drugs, sex, and trauma. The cast includes Zendaya, Nika King, ‘Hunter Schafer, Eric Dane, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, and Storm Reid.

Euphoria season will wrap up on February 27, 2022, with a total of seven episodes.

Some other exciting upcoming shows include House of the Dragon, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and The Wheel of Time Season 2.
